Last night we had a snow storm pass through and while at the time it was not really a big deal, other then that it is the middle of March and I am ready for some warmer weather - It turned into a big deal when this is what I found in the morning! Not the best way to start a day that's for sure.
Tarek got a nerf gun from his Uncle Scott and Aunt Traci a while back but had a hard time using it as it was so big. The other day he pulled it back out and had a BLAST! Thanks Scott and Traci he is loving it! Then there is Dreyken, thought I would post a few pictures of her "Dancing like Angelina Ballerina"
This week the kids school did a "NO TV WEEK" Challenge. If the kids didn't watch any TV for the week then they got to earn some prizes. And I am proud to say that they did it! I wasn't sure they would make it for an entire week, but they surprised me and made it from Friday to Friday! Tarek found a new hobby - Puzzles! He spent almost all of his free time doing puzzles and he is getting really good and fast a putting them together. Kalli spent a lot of time reading and would join in on the puzzles or get the family to play a game every once in a while. It turned out to be a really good thing and hopefully we can keep the TV off more! On another note - Kalli got a sewing machine from her Grandma Beck for Christmas a year ago. She has sewn a few pillow cases but not much else. So since the kids were out of school on Friday and Dreyken is again sick, we pulled out the machine and tried to find something to make. She decided on a pair of Capri's and we found an t-shirt I had lying around that had never been worn. They turned out really cute and she is starting to figure out the machine a lot better. However, she did not want a picture taken so this is all I got!

Our energetic, loving six year old son. Loves to spoil his mom and sisters. He is dad's buddy and wrestling companion. He has such a tender heart and loves to please. He is quick to make friends with anyone who will let him. He loves sports, and is getting very good at many of them especially his favorite soccer. T is always willing to be the goof and get a laugh out of people. Loves going to kindergarten, and being a brother to both of his sisters.
Dreyken prefers to be refered to as "Daddy's Butterfly Princess" and that describers her exactly. She is very girly girl, and loves to were tutu's and dresses that spin. She loves to dance and sing and has quite the stubborn streak running through her. She loves to laugh and play with others. She is a Daddy's girl all the way and has him wrapped around her tiny little finger. She loves both her brother and sister and trys to be just a big as they are.
